Happy Birthday Melissa! Sorry about the toilet in your yard...

Rob is delighted about his thoughtful birthday gift for his only sister, and you can see why—who wouldn't want a lovely pink toilet (especially with a disgusting stained seat) in their front yard? I can't wait to see what the Stringhams come up with for Rob's birthday.

Still winning

Joey went on to win an award of merit at the district level for his reflections entry and tonight was the awards ceremony, so this has to be my photo of the day. We're proud of you Joey! And I won another blog giveaway in December! My friend Mandy has the greatest preschool blog, Not Just Cute, and I won a copy of The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats. If Melissa ever gets around to deciding what to give away on her blog, I think my chances are pretty good. Do I need to add a tag for prizes? :)

Celebration

This post is in celebration of a couple of things: first, and most important, Melissa's birthday today. I'm not sure if she keeps me sane or if she just makes me feel like I'm not the only insane one. Either way, thanks Melis. Happy Birthday! Second, I've been taking old negatives to Costco to have them transferred to CD a little at a time, and I love having these on my computer. So it was easy to find a decade's worth of shots for this collage. If you want a closer look, just click it to enlarge. BTW, I did not come up with this format, I just copied Rachelle.
