I finally got around to hanging some pictures today. I was going to surprise Rob when he got home, but let's face it, he's not big on surprises, and I'm just not that patient. Hanging pictures in a grid is not easy, especially when you have to jerry-rig some scaffolding. While I was up there Joey said, "Um, Mom, is that safe?" I told him not to tell my grandma about it, but that yes, I was being careful. It feels good to cross that project off my list.

Your pictures look gorgeous! And, I too have received the "be careful, Mom" admonition from my little guys. It certainly makes you think twice when you're doing something even THEY consider unsafe!
By the way, I'm getting the urge to run, though Steve (my saner half) makes me promise to wait a few more weeks at least. Just wanted to let you know I do intend to get back out there!
YEAH - you did it! I am SO impressed - good work - Rob is going to love seeing all those pictures when he gets back. You are amazing - I never could have done that (it was actually my DAD that hung our pics in the hallway - he's the only one who could have ever line them up so nicely - haha). Way to go!
The pictures look great. I especially love the one of Ellie. I SO wish I had a girl!
I'm very impressed - that did look a little dangerous, though.
Yeah, are you sure that was safe? I love that molding/wainscotting you have too. Good work on hanging those. I hung 4 frames in a grid and I can't even tell you how many holes in the wall I have!!!!

Snaps to you for getting that project done-alive!
