But it was fun to go in on an iPad for my 90 year-old grandma!
She's never owned a computer, but loves to check out her grandkids blogs and photos on mine. We thought a laptop might be a little overwhelming, but an iPad is so intuitive. We downloaded photos and set up blogs so that she just has to push a button. Hopefully she's reading this, in fact—Hi Grandma! Love you!
It was fun to surprise someone who has spent her whole life giving. Here's a shot with most of her great-grandkids:
I don't think there is a person in this packed room who couldn't share memories of Grandma serving them. Mine would take pages.
I love holiday bokeh shots, and Cara took a great one with my camera.
We were at Jim and Joan's for this party from 4:00-6:30, and then went straight to another party. Our former bishop invited us and several other couples over for dinner. I wish I'd thought to take my camera. We had a great time, and I feel so lucky to be surrounded by such inspiring and fun people. These two parties really represented a couple of things I love about the Christmas season—being able to give a gift that is meaningful, and spending time with family and friends.

Thanks for posting this. It's so nice to see pictures when I can't be there for these things! I am really thankful for your blog so I can at least feel a little in touch with my extended family.
