It has been approximately 23 days, 13 hours and 40 minutes since I opened my new Bosch Universal Mixer for Christmas (Rob's been keeping track). And I have FINALLY made my first attempt at homemade bread (at least the kind that requires kneading). It turned out pretty darn good too. There were four loaves, and one disappeared within minutes. I used the recipe from John and Jennie's Bosch Kitchen Center, called "Foolproof Bread." I'm happy to report that it was, in fact, fool proof.

What a great feeling and those look delicious!!!! I'm still a bit of a novice break baker myself, but was so proud of myself the first time I made rolls from scratch. Is that your kitchen? My mom has the same granite.
Oh Michelle they look beautiful. I wish mine would look like that. I love my bosch. Glad you got one for Christmas You'll love it. gbk
