Ballet/Mom's Night Out

I started this post around 7:30, then a friend called and had an extra ticket to a concert, so with Rob's encouragement I ditched this and everything else I should be doing and headed to the Urban Lounge to see Nouvelle Vague. I really wish I'd taken my camera, because that's such a departure from my typical daily photo. I had a great time, although I probably stood out there just as much as a mohawk in sacrament meeting. No need to card the middle-aged suburban mom. :) I'm so glad I went out of my comfort zone a little, and so glad to have friends who'll give me that little push. During the opening band there was a guy dancing by himself in the middle of the dance floor, and I told Amie I was pretty sure that I couldn't be that completely uninhibited even if I were drunk.

Ainsley, on the other hand, loves to dance, and doesn't care who's watching. Youth: wasted on the young.

Edited: Amie sent me a copy of a photo she took with her phone.
