After months of anticipation, the girls waiting to meet their pen pals (although let's be honest, there wasn't that much correspondence going on :), we finally met up with my French sister, Christine, and her four kids, Alexia (9 1/2 years old), Émeline (8 1/2), Évane (7) and Clément (6). We went to a lake in nearly La Flèche, walked around it and spent time at the playground there. The kids got to practice a few words of French, but mostly they spoke the universal language of play.
