Driving to and from the châteaux was beautiful, some of the most scenic countryside I've ever seen. Unfortunately, the roads are narrow and there is no way to pull over for photos.
We were happy to see that the French agree that the U is super.
I loved the topiaries that seemed to be in all the trees.
When we got home we had another treat in store, Pierre got out the lawnmower, and for once, there was no complaining from any of our kids. :) We all took a turn, and enjoyed the warm weather and good company.
Even the primitive dryer didn't spoil the charm of French countryside life. :)
