Blues skies, sunshine, time to relax and play...yeah, I guess it was worth the horrible drive down. There was just enough wind to get these up, but not the big kites.
The boys all got some bike riding in, and the kids love to ride their scooters at the park right next to Grandma and Grandpa's house.
And we still had plenty of time left over for naps and reading. We were the only ones down there, and while we would have loved to spend time with our extended family, it really was a nice quiet weekend.
